UVITA PRIVATE CHEF:

 

Private Chef & Dining Experience (generally needs to be arranged 2 weeks in advance):

This is a relatively new venture we have launched this year with a wonderful tico chef called Royner and his team of professionals from up the road in Uvita. The unique concept is a bespoke gastranomic experience as Royner and his team of 'private chefs' come fully prepared packed to the brim with fresh ingredients and oozing culinary ideas, offering guests a bespoke authentic tico menu counting on 100% organic local produce and ingredients and prepare the whole dining experience for guests to enjoy in the comfort of Pura Vida Ecolodge... Think ‘Private Chef meets Ecoluxury of Pura Vida Ecolodge’. The dinners include beverages/wine and for a two course meal cost $155 and $180 for a complete three course feast. (prices are based on two people). Naturally, as the number of your group increases, the ‘per head’ cost comes down considerably. The price includes preparation, set up and all the zero km organic ingredients. Payment (in cash please) goes directly to Royner on the day. So whether you don’t fancy cooking or ‘eating out’, as long as arranged well in advance (we recommend 2 weeks to avoid disappointment as they’re becoming incredibly popular in the area), the Private Chef and his team can prepare a variety of home-cooked, authentic Tico cuisine for all tastes. In keeping with the sustainable and eco-conscious foundations on which Pura Vida Ecolodge is built on, we have decided to focus on vegetarian and vegan variations with a particular emphasis on locally grown and sourced ingredients. But for the carnivores among you, fear not, Royner can create a plethora of super tasty ‘platos fuertes’ y’ entradas’, full of all the colours and nutrients your bodies will be craving, so you won’t be going hungry!
